UNSAFE ACTS or CONDITIONS

 

As part of any workers HnS obligations to identify potential hazards and then identifying controls which can be used to mitigate these hazards, it is also their responsibility to report any unsafe acts or conditions which may or may not present themselves as part of the tasks they are involved with.

Our policy at Athenry Electrical is to Promote a safe environment for all our workers And mitigate the customers’ risks.

Workers are required to observe workplace health and safety policies and procedures and apply a proactive approach to ensuring the work environment is safe and healthy.

Failure to comply with the health and safety policies and procedures; working in an unsafe manner; or participating in any stupid or jocular behaviour that is likely to cause harm or injury, may be viewed as misconduct.

 

      • Immediately report any unsafe act or condition to your supervisor
      • If possible, take immediate measures to rectify the unsafe act or condition
      • Refuse to undertake a particular work activity you consider may cause a notifiable event. Refer to notifiable definitions.

We have developed a form which our staff can complete to assist them in reporting any such event

 

SAFETY WILL NOT BE COMPROMISED DUE TO OPERATIONAL PRESSURES FOR ANY WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT
